The Federal Polytechnic
Mubi, Adamawa State in
which over 20 students were
killed by unidentified
gunmen last night has been
closed down and students
asked to go home.
Although, the school has not
issued a formal statement to
the press, a source in the
school told reporters
that examination that started
today has also been
suspended indefinitely.
The source also said that
thousands of students have
fled the school and Mubi
town. A fearful student
population fled to avoid
falling victim of further
attacks as their parents kept
calling them over the phone
to return to their homes in
different parts of the country.
As at the time of filing this
report, no group has claimed
responsibility of the killings.
