The Lagos State Government
yesterday announced that the
3rd Mainland Bridge will be
completely shut down
tomorrow Sunday Oct 14th to
allow the contractors to do the
concrete casting of the
expansion joints currently
undergoing repair works on the
Oworonshoki-bound section.
The government explained that
the concrete casting and drying
process requires zero vibration,
and that's why they are shutting
down the bridge from 6.am to
12 midnight. So motorists are
advised to find alternative
routes.
