No doubt these are not the best of times for ‘Mr. Integrity’, Hon Farouk
Lawan, as he's fighting the battle of his life to redeem his image
after he was "caught on camera" collecting bribe from the Chairman of
Zenon Oil, Mr. Femi Otedola to "help" strike out his company's name from
 the list of indicted firms.
As the $620,000 bribery scandal continue to dominate discussion
forums, Nigeria's re-known human rights lawyer, Femi Falana has called
for a thorough investigation of the matter and where he is found guilty,
he should be used as an example in the fight against corruption.
Prior to this scandal threatening to bring down the legislator, Lawan
had exuded integrity and was seen in the country as the super star of
the House; one who was ready to sanitise the system not minding whose ox
 is gored.
